In the beginning of 2013, Paul and Nancy Burkholder decided to take a leap of faith and cut the steady paycheck in order to better serve the northern Indiana community through construction services, thus Hartland Enterprises was born. By the end of 2013 they were blessed to be able to purchase a spray foam roofing and insulation rig and take on some of the former business.

The next 10 years flew by as the small company was involved in a number of spray foam projects, as well as building log homes and conventional homes, post frame buildings and metal roofing.

By 2023 the Burkholder family was poised for another major change. To meet the rising demands of the different types of spray foam applications, they decided to drop the diversification of other construction projects and focus solely on the spray foam roofing, coating and insulation side of the company. A team was hired and strategically trained in spray foam roofing and roof coatings, closed and open cell wall foam and also injection foam.
